Key Summit is found a one and a half hour walk from The Divide car park along the Routeburn Track in Fiordland National Park. In this piece, some of the great peaks of Fiordland are visible, with Earl Mountains capturing the first light in the far left, Pyramid Peak is easy to spot amongst the Earl Mountain Range. The mountains to the right of the image are Mt Christina (2,474m) and Mt Crosscut
The Routeburn Track is one of New Zealand's more popular Great Walks. It is a point-to-point walk rather than a loop and can be hiked in either direction. You can start the hike in Fiordland at The Divide (85km from Te Anau) or from the Routeburn Shelter (25km from Glenorchy).
