Mt Tutoko

The jagged peak of Mt Tūtoko sits at 2,723m high (8,933ft) and is the highest peak in Fiordland. It lies between the Hollyford Valley and Milford Sound near the northern end of the Darran Mountains.

Mt Tūtoko is visible from the Hollyford Track, the 4-day hike that takes you from the mountains of Fiordland to Martins Bay on the west coast. The southeast ridge of Tūtuko is considered one of New Zealand's finest alpine routes.
