Moke Lake is a 10-minute drive from central Queenstown. It is a popular location for day trips with bikers and walkers enjoying the 6.5 km loop track around the lake as well as kayakers on the lake.
Overnight stays are possible at the Moke Lake campsite run by the Department of Conservation. A stunning view of Moke Lake is possible from high above along the Lake Dispute hiking trail.
