The Chasm is found in Fiordland National Park along the road to Milford Sound. The area was once a popular day walk but was closed after heavy rain caused erosion to much of the track in 2020. The gentle rainforest walks followed a series of footbridges to reach an impressive waterfall and rock formation shaped by the powerful flow of water coming through the chasm.
